The game is set in a medieval fantasy world of magic where the Salburg Academy, located in the capital city of Schigsal Kingdom, specializes in the studies of alchemy and produces some of the best alchemists on the continent.

The game's protagonist, Marie, is a student at the Salburg Academy, who is struggling with her grades in alchemy. Her instructor, Ingrid, then decides to teach her with unconventional methods. Ingrid allows Marie to open her own workshop to practice alchemy and create an item using the skills she has learned through alchemy. The game's story is set for five years, where Marie tries to improve her alchemy skills and create the best item.
